Strategic Sales Partner

At Hearst StoryStudio, we create custom content programs that help brands tell meaningful stories across Hearst's newspaper, television, digital, social, video, and podcast platforms. As our Strategic Sales Partner, you'll serve as the consultative engine behind our sales organization—partnering with local markets to develop innovative marketing solutions that help clients achieve their business goals.

What You'll Do

  • Partner with Hearst Newspaper and Television sales teams to develop strategic content marketing solutions for clients.
  • Lead client discovery, brainstorm creative concepts, and build compelling proposals and presentations.
  • Collaborate with creative, production, and leadership teams to develop integrated marketing programs.
  • Train and support local sellers through sales enablement, product education, and best practices.
  • Travel to Hearst markets to support client meetings, sales trainings, strategic planning sessions, and industry events.
  • Identify new opportunities, packaging ideas, and resources that help StoryStudio and our markets grow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in content marketing, advertising, media strategy, account planning, brand strategy, or consultative sales.
  • Experience developing integrated marketing programs and client presentations.
  • Strong understanding of branded content, native advertising, and content marketing.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, AI tools and presentation development.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30% of time to support Hearst markets and clients.

In accordance with applicable law, Hearst is required to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role if hired in New York, NY. The reasonable estimate is $85,000 - $100,000, plus quarterly revenue-attainment incentives. A final decision on the successful candidate’s starting salary will be based on several permissible, non-discriminatory factors, including but not limited to skills and experience, training, certifications, and education.
