About the Role

KBR is seeking an IT Business Process Analyst to join our Corporate Enterprise Systems Team (EST). This role is responsible for analyzing, supporting, and optimizing business processes and enterprise applications, with a primary focus on the Costpoint Content Management Interface (CMI) and end user accessibility support (remote access, mobile app, etc). Serving as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, the IT Business Process Analyst gathers and documents requirements, evaluates and improves business processes, supports application enhancements, and assists in resolving system and operational issues. The role collaborates closely with developers, infrastructure teams, ERP support teams, and business users to deliver effective technology solutions that align with business objectives while promoting system reliability, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze, document, and improve business processes related to enterprise applications and the CMI & Remote Access environment.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and system requirements from stakeholders.
  • Serve as a primary technical support contact and ticket queue manager for the EST - Technical team.
  • Work with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend technology-driven solutions.
  • Support the implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of enterprise applications and related business processes.
  • Coordinate and participate in system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and validation of business requirements.
  • Investigate, troubleshoot, and help resolve application and process-related issues.
  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions for recurring system or operational problems.
  • Partner with developers, infrastructure teams, and support teams to implement system enhancements and process changes.
  • Create and maintain business requirements documents, process flows, user guides, and other supporting documentation.
  • Assist with application upgrades, releases, and change management activities.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization.
  • Ensure solutions comply with organizational standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide support to business users through training, knowledge transfer, and operational assistance.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives impacting enterprise systems and business operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • BA/BS or working towards a degree in business, computer science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Process Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role supporting enterprise applications.
  • Experience gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis, workflow documentation, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience supporting enterprise systems in a cross-functional corporate environment.
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), change management, and testing methodologies.
  • Experience facilitating discussions between business stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Fraud Alert
