Mission of the role:

In this role, you’ll be part of a team responsible for developing, supporting, and executing the commercial RUO (Research Use Only) and IVD (In Vitro Diagnostics) product strategy across IMDx’s portfolio of Oncology and Transplant products. Working with the Product Market Development Team, you will develop long-term relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in the clinical laboratory, and research laboratory sphere of influence. Together, you will drive market intelligence to inform our product and clinical development roadmap to ensure that our products meet a market need and have the highest success of adoption in the RUO market. You will use your experience in the RUO space and market feedback to ensure we are building products that the market can use. You will be responsible for primary support for laboratories with training, validation, and troubleshooting for our IMDx products.

Your day-to-day:

  • Primary support for clinical laboratories with training, validation and troubleshooting for our IMDx products
  • Leading the implementation of assays, products, and clinical solutions within customer sites
  • Provide technical and applications assistance in response to customer inquiries
  • Build and maintain relationships with IMDx collaborating partners, decision makers or potential influencers
  • Help in building processes, training material, and knowledge bases to better support customers using IMDx’s RUO products.
  • Provide technical and application support for sales team when needed.
  • Understanding of CAP/CLIA & NYS Guidelines for Lab Developed Tests.
  • Identify and initiate programs/tactics of mutual interest to IMDx and KOLs, as appropriate.
  • Disseminate KOL insights and intelligence across cross-functional partners to help develop new strategies, tactics, training, and customer service efficiency.
  • Remain knowledgeable of the competitive environment and treatment paradigms within Oncology and how IMDx’s portfolio compares to the competitive landscape.

  • 3+ experience in the diagnostic industry with a focus in Oncology.
  • 3+ years of direct customer facing experience.
  • BS or advanced degree in a molecular biology or similar field
  • Highly customer focused individuals who can routinely inspire the larger organization
  • Travel up to 50%.
