About the Role
We're seeking a Case Management Analyst to execute individual case actions on a one-business-day clock — disenrollment, re-enrollment, deferment determinations, and duplicate-case decisions — against written decision rules, recording the rule applied and the evidence relied on for each determination. You'll also manage the program mailbox, monitor cases against timeliness goals, and verify separation dates against personnel record sources.

- Apply written decision rules and record the rule applied and evidence relied on for each determination
- Manage the program mailbox and case intake queue
- Monitor cases against established timeliness goals
- Verify separation dates against personnel record sources
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years applying written eligibility or procedural rules to individual cases
- Demonstrated ability to meet a one-business-day action standard
- Experience documenting determinations, including the rule applied and the evidence relied upon
- Experience managing a shared mailbox or case intake queue
- Experience coordinating record corrections with external organizations
- Sound judgment handling sensitive individual case information
Preferred Qualifications
- Military personnel, benefits eligibility, or medical board case processing experience
- Experience with the Veterans Tracking Application or a comparable case system of record
- Familiarity with Disability Evaluation System or Integrated DES case actions
- Experience monitoring cases against established timeliness goals
- Experience with personnel record verification sources
What Success Looks Like
- Fast and accurate under a one-business-day action clock
- Meticulous about documenting the rule applied and evidence relied on
- Sound judgment handling sensitive, individual-level case information
- Comfortable owning a shared mailbox and intake queue without letting items age
Benefits
- 401(k) retirement plan
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid time off (PTO)
Status: Contingency – This work is contingent upon award.
Salary: $60,000 - 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
