Industrial electrical project manager

Our client, a well-established provider and distributor of industrial electrical equipment and power transmission solutions in Vietnam, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Work closely with project owners/investors and design consultants to identify, collect, and stay updated on project information.

Coordinate with manufacturers to select the most suitable suppliers for each project and negotiate favorable commercial terms.

Prepare bidding documents, including product selection, solution proposals, quotations, technical compliance schedules, and other required tender documentation, while coordinating with the Sales Support team to ensure completeness and compliance with tender requirements.

Monitor the bidding and evaluation process, propose appropriate solutions to address arising issues, and improve the probability of successful tender awards.

Coordinate with the Contract Department to monitor and support contract execution, including contract negotiations with customers, drawing approvals, and other related activities.

Proactively develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and relevant stakeholders within the assigned business area.

Maintain comprehensive knowledge of assigned products and technical specifications, benchmark them against competing products in the same market segment, and stay informed about competitors and market developments.

Prepare periodic reports in accordance with company requirements and ad-hoc reports as requested by management.

Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisors.

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems, Automation, or a related discipline.

Proven experience in sales or business development involving similar electrical products, preferably with hands-on experience in transmission line and substation projects.

Experience working with distributors of high-voltage electrical equipment, electrical design consulting firms, or other relevant organizations is highly preferred.

Candidates with experience working with major power transmission or electricity organizations are preferred.

At least 3 years of professional experience in high-voltage transmission line accessories, substations, or related electrical equipment.

Strong knowledge of assigned products, target markets, and customer segments.

Good communication and negotiation skills.

Sufficient technical English proficiency to communicate effectively with manufacturers and international suppliers.
