Airport equipment project manager

Our client, a well-established provider and distributor of industrial electrical equipment and power transmission solutions in Vietnam, is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

Project Development & Business Planning

Meet with customers and consultants to gather project information, understand project requirements, and identify customer plans and priorities.

Develop business plans for assigned projects, including contract strategy, revenue targets, and profitability objectives.

Project Follow-up, Product Marketing & Technical Support

Support consultants and customers during the technical design and cost estimation stages.

Research and develop knowledge of new products and deliver product presentations for newly introduced products or manufacturers, with technical support from suppliers when required.

Monitor the market and analyze competitors, competing products, and relevant project opportunities.

Tender Preparation & Bid Participation

Coordinate with customers during the preparation and development of technical requirement documents.

Prepare tender documentation, including product selection, solution proposals, quotations, and technical compliance schedules. Work closely with the technical team to ensure the bidding package is complete and fully compliant with tender requirements.

Provide regular project updates and reports to managers and senior management.

Other Responsibilities

Prepare periodic reports in accordance with company procedures and provide ad-hoc reports upon management request.

Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Comply with all company policies, procedures, and internal regulations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Automation, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or other relevant technical disciplines.

At least 5 years of professional experience, including a minimum of 3 years in project sales, project-based business development, or project sales management.

Candidates with experience in airport equipment, airfield systems, aviation infrastructure, or similar technical products will be highly preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and relevant professional software such as CAD and PDFprofessional...

Good command of English, with the ability to communicate with international partners and suppliers.

Detail-oriented, well-organized, focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks while consistently meeting deadlines.
