Assists Operations with training and safety initiatives.

Job Function

  • Supports safety initiatives with investigations and corrective actions for all incidents.
  • Provides administrative support to all safety software programs.
  • MTS program scheduling and notifications.
  • Manages Safety Incident Reporting Log on Reliance website and spreadsheet.
  • Assists with Safety Communications and Toolbox Talks.
  • Maintains the Company Safety Dashboard.
  • Responsible for purchasing and distribution of safety equipment supplies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with management and other departments.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong understanding of business goals and standards for customer service.
  • Experience providing full-scope training materials, from analyzing company needs to lesson planning, development, and implementation.
  • Assist with annual training plans and materials.
  • Seek and gather information from employees, and other departments regarding the effectiveness of completed training courses and constantly seek to improve.
  • Measure employee’s progress and retention rates by issuing assessments and materials.
  • Create printed and instructional materials to be used in training.
  • Schedule and conduct New Hire Operator Training.
  • Schedule and conduct retraining for active employees.

Required Skills

  • Previous experience working as a Training Coordinator.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Management and Operators and other departments.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Suite.
  • Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
  • Assist with creating annual training plans materials for all departments.
