Vermont State University, Castleton campus, invites applications for the position of Graduate Assistant for Faculty, Sport Management.
The primary responsibility of the Graduate Assistant (GA) will be to assist the Sport Management Program Coordinator in all facets of program administration including but not limited to advising of undergraduate students, exploration of COSMA accreditation, maintenance of the sport management and athletic leadership student database, program application administration, PReCIP data tracking, and handbook and website updates. The graduate assistant will also assist with undergraduate course management for several courses and will assist with the administration and marketing of the Master of Science in Athletic Leadership program.
A bachelor's degree in sport management or a related field, with exemplary academic work, excellent writing skills, a strong work ethic, excellent attention to detail, and acceptance into graduate school at Vermont State University are required. This is a two-year position beginning in August of 2026 and ending in May of 2028. It may be possible to alter these dates.

Budgeted Wage for this Position: This position includes tuition remission (up to 9 credits per semester or 18 credits per academic year), housing, and a $5000 stipend.
