Description
GI Anesthesiologist opening with same-day, multispecialty surgery center Cumberland Valley Surgery Center in Hagerstown, MD, surrounded by rolling farmland and wooded forests. Part-time welcome! It is the longest-serving facility of its type for the community. The center features two treatment rooms providing local/monitored anesthesia care, one operating room designed for procedures requiring general anesthesia, a preoperative area, and a post-anesthesia care area.

Salary: $425K (for part-time, will be prorated)

Case Assignments & Schedule
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hours). No call. No weekends.
- Pain management, orthopedic, general, dental/oral, gynecology, plastic and reconstructive, podiatry, and endoscopy
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and perform interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
Requirements
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (8-hours). No call. No weekends.
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician
