Salary: From $95,000/year + Mileage Reimbursement | $5,000 Sign-On Bonus

We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Float Director of Nursing (RN) to provide clinical leadership across multiple Assisted Living and Memory Care communities in the Milwaukee and Madison areas. This unique role supports our local DONs, steps in during transitions, and helps drive excellence, consistency, and compliance across locations. This is more than coverage—it’s a chance to build, mentor, and strengthen care delivery across a region.

• Serve as an extension of regional leadership to support community-level teams
• Stabilize and elevate care during leadership transitions, leaves, or high-acuity periods
• Collaborate directly with Executive Directors, Regional Directors, and home office teams
• Experience variety while building deep relationships across our portfolio

What You’ll Do:

• Act as interim or supporting DON during vacancies or onboarding periods
• Coach and mentor nurses and caregivers to elevate team culture and care practices
• Oversee clinical assessments, ISP development, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives
• Partner with therapy, hospice, and home health to ensure coordinated care
• Promote documentation accuracy, med pass safety, and infection control practices
• Participate in onboarding new DONs and assist in training emerging nurse leaders

You’re a Strong Fit If You:

• Hold an active RN license in the State of Wisconsin
• Have 2+ years of experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care
• Thrive in dynamic settings and can quickly adapt to new teams and systems
• Are an experienced DON, ADON, or regional nurse leader
• Enjoy mentoring others and solving clinical challenges collaboratively
• Are comfortable with regional travel and a flexible schedule
