About the Role:

Rajal J Patel DDS PA is looking for an enthusiastic and organized Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our growing dental practice in Orange, NJ! In this patient-facing role, you'll be the bridge between our clinical team and our patients — helping people understand their treatment plans and guiding them toward healthier smiles. Responsibilities:

• Present and explain dental treatment plans to patients in a clear, compassionate manner
• Schedule patient appointments and manage the daily appointment calendar
• Coordinate with dentists and clinical staff to ensure seamless patient flow
• Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with coverage questions
• Discuss financial options, payment plans, and insurance billing with patients
• Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment and outstanding balances
• Maintain accurate patient records using dental practice management software

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a dental office or healthcare coordination role preferred
• Familiarity with dental terminology, treatment planning, and insurance processes
• Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy front-office environment
• Bilingual candidates are a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting or administrative certification a bonus
