Bay area – corporate associate (mid-level/senior)

We are searching for a mid-level/senior associate to join our Corporate group in our Bay Area offices. The ideal candidate would have experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, venture capital financings, growth and private equity, public offerings, and mergers and acquisitions. We are looking for motivated, team-oriented and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working closely with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem. Depending on your experience, your practice at Gunderson would involve a mix of counseling founders, executives, and VCs, and representing companies and investors in venture financing, growth equity, and M&A transactions. You will have significant client contact daily, and must be comfortable interacting with CEOs, Boards of Directors, and general partners of venture funds.

Job Requirements:

• JD 2018-2022
• Admission into the State Bar of California is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a client-focused approach and aptitude for client-facing work.
• Prior large law firm experience is a plus, but not required.
• Experience in M&A, venture capital financings and/or growth equity financing transactions.

Salary Range: $310,000 - $435,000
