Job Description

The Retails Sales Officer is Responsible for managing customer enquiries across walk-in, online, and telephone channels, converting leads into sales, achieving monthly targets, providing solution-based product recommendations, coordinating installers, and ensuring excellent customer service throughout the sales process. Located in Songea, Singida, Katoro and Bukoba.

Key Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly sales targets with focus on Solution business.
• To handle walk-in customer enquiries.
• Manage installers within region – Engage and recruit.
• Help customers make selection by possessing excellent product knowledge and actively promoting solution selling.
• To follow up on leads received via all channels.
• To prepare proforma invoices.
• To follow up with open customer enquiries.
• To liaise with customer service on the keying in of orders and material readiness.
• To follow up with customers on payments.
• To inform customers when orders are ready for collection.
• Receive customer complaints and follow up with relevant departments till fully resolved.
• Participate in trade fares and exhibition.
• Participate in monthly and annual stock taking exercise.
• Ensure compliance to Service Centre SOP.

Qualifications and Competencies:

• Undergraduate degree in business management.
• Min 3 years’ experience.
• Good negotiation skills and decision making.
• Excellent customer service.
• Good communication and listening skills.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work long hours as and when required.
