What you'll be doing
- Support the successful implementation of new MES/SCADA systems across production lines within manufacturing plants.
- Provide modification and enhancement services for existing MES/SCADA solutions.
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues and operational challenges.
- Collaborate closely with team members to ensure project and small-order deliverables are completed within the agreed scope, timeline, and budget.
- Create, maintain, and continuously update knowledge base documentation.
- Develop knowledge and expertise in platforms related to Industry 4.0 and manufacturing innovation.
What you'll bring along
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Automation Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming principles, with hands-on experience in languages such as C#, Java, or similar. Experience with C# is considered a strong advantage.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, including the ability to query, analyze, and manipulate manufacturing-related data.
- Good understanding of MES, SCADA, or industrial automation concepts. Exposure to manufacturing environments is considered an advantage.
- Familiarity with PLCs, industrial communication protocols, and shop-floor integration technologies is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues in a structured manner.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in a global, cross-functional environment.
- Interest in Industry 4.0, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Factory initiatives, and emerging manufacturing technologies.
- A proactive learning mindset and willingness to develop expertise in MES/SCADA platforms and manufacturing innovation solutions.
- Availability to travel up to 20% as required to support project implementation and customer site activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
