Our client is a global technology organisation operating within the robotics sector. They deliver complex transformation programmes that require robust governance, financial control and stakeholder management. They are currently seeking an experienced PMO Lead to join their team in Wroclaw on a contract basis.
Position Overview
As PMO Lead, you will be responsible for the complete coordination of a multi-project programme. Your role will be central to ensuring stable delivery through financial management, risk oversight, quality control and stakeholder communications. You'll work across project teams to align activities, manage dependencies and maintain programme standards. This position requires someone who can balance operational coordination with strategic oversight, presenting progress and decisions to senior leadership while ensuring day-to-day programme activities run smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities and dependencies between individual projects and project managers
- Manage budget preparation, financial reporting including accruals, actuals and forecasting
- Review and approve service and license contracts as part of sourcing activities
- Coordinate regular project status reporting and maintain RAID logs
- Prepare materials for steering committee meetings and present to senior stakeholders
- Facilitate cross-project decision-making and maintain decision logs
- Organise Quality Gate reviews and track follow-up actions
- Align individual project cutover plans and support execution activities
- Ensure project materials and deliverables meet company standards and quality requirements
- Administer programme web portal, Teams, SharePoint and distribution lists
- Maintain programme contact lists and documentation
Requirements
- 6-8 years of project management experience
- Strong understanding of PMO functions including governance, risk management and reporting
- Experience managing programme finances including budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Proven ability to coordinate multiple projects and manage dependencies
- Experience preparing materials for and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Knowledge of contract review and sourcing processes
- Familiarity with Quality Gate methodologies and governance frameworks
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and data quality
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management at all levels
- Proficiency with collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Teams and project portals
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of programme coordination activities
