Pos material logistic specialist

About the Role:

For our team, we are looking for a POS Material Logistic Specialist who will support the end-to-end management of Point of Sale materials, ensuring their availability and the smooth execution of the related logistics processes. In this role, you will coordinate different activities across master data, inventory, order management, warehousing, transportation and delivery, ensuring accurate information flows and alignment between systems and physical stock.

Main Responsibilities:

You will manage the creation, maintenance and continuous update of POS material master data, ensuring accuracy, completeness and consistency across systems. You will coordinate delivery calendars, distribution depots and operational lead times to ensure POS material availability and timely execution. You will also oversee the end-to-end customer order process, from order intake and validation to monitoring and final delivery. A key part of your role will be monitoring inventory levels, stock availability and movements, identifying and managing potential shortages, excess stock or discrepancies. You will regularly reconcile SAP inventory with physical stock, analysing and resolving any differences. You will contribute to planning and coordinating deliveries and transportation activities, considering customer requirements, logistics constraints, delivery schedules and service priorities.

You will also manage the information flows related to delivery execution and confirmation, ensuring accurate and timely communication. In addition, you will manage MERRIF-related activities and support the calculation and validation of compensation, fees and logistics/service costs. You will be responsible for preparing, validating and reconciling pre-invoicing data, ensuring its accuracy and completeness before final invoicing. Finally, you will support compliance with company quality standards across warehouses, verifying that corporate requirements and established guidelines are correctly applied.

About You:

For this position, we are looking for someone with a strong interest in Logistics and Supply Chain processes, combining a structured and analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple activities and collaborate effectively with different stakeholders. Accuracy, attention to detail and strong organisational skills are key to handling master data, inventory, orders and costs while managing priorities in a dynamic environment.

A Master's degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field, together with experience or knowledge of SAP, inventory management, order management or logistics processes, would be relevant for the role.

What We Offer:

The role is classified at Level 1° under the National Collective Agreement for the Food Industry (CCNL Industria Alimentare). The guaranteed minimum base annual gross salary established by the CCNL for the applicable level is € 43.249. The compensation package also includes an annual variable component with a target of up to 5% of base salary.

The overall compensation will be determined based on the experience, skills, and qualifications of the selected candidate.
