Could you be the full-time onsite Power Supply (POS) design Engineer in Cairo, EG we’re looking for?
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your technical expertise in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, innovative, and dedicated teammates.
You'll play a key role in shaping the future of sustainable mobility by designing and delivering power supply systems that meet the highest standards of safety, reliability, and efficiency. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as system engineering, installation, and testing and commissioning teams), manage technical interfaces with stakeholders, and ensure on-time submission of design documents, among other responsibilities.
You’ll specifically take care of developing requirements from reference documents and ensuring compliance with standards, but also support global system architecture definition and coordinate with off-shore design teams.
We’ll look to you for:
- Technical interface management with internal and external stakeholders
- Technical management of suppliers and subcontractors
- Ensuring on-time submission of POS design documents
- Providing support on POS topics to the System Engineering and Installation teams
- Developing and allocating requirements in collaboration with relevant specialists
- Ensuring compliance with normative references and local standards
- Integrating Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) requirements
- Supporting the definition of global POS system architecture and electrical designs
- Ensuring consistency and compatibility between all subsystem specifications
- Participating in design reviews as part of the DFQ process
- Preparing and managing correspondences related to POS design activities
- Defining technical criteria for components and evaluating suppliers
- Supporting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and preparing related procedures
- Elaborating, reviewing, and updating Bills of Quantities (BOQ)
- Participating in collecting and applying lessons learned (REX) on POS design
- Reviewing and securing approval for design deliverables
