Join the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Region as an Administration Officer in the Emergency Department!
An opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality, confidential and customer-focused administrative support services within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Region. As an Administration Officer, you will provide reception services, support patient admissions and discharges, maintain medical records, prepare client and patient information reports, undertake word processing and data entry tasks, and provide essential clerical and administrative support to staff, clients and visitors, contributing to the efficient delivery of healthcare services.
This role requires shift work across a 24/7 roster. Weekend and overnight work will be required.

- Demonstrated ability to manage patient admissions, records, and data accurately in a busy environment

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?
- Provide front-line customer service, including reception, phone enquiries, appointment bookings, and directing visitors
- Deliver administrative support such as data entry, records management, scheduling, and general clerical tasks
- Support safe and efficient patient flow through accurate admissions, records, and data entry
- Maintain accurate electronic and hardcopy records in line with policies and retention requirements
- Contribute to team operations, compliance, continuous improvement, and workplace health and safety activities
