Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist — Automotive / Manufacturing

A multinational company with a facility in the Farmington Hills, Michigan area is currently seeking an experienced Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist for a Direct Hire opportunity with its growing team. Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialist compensation is anticipated to be based on experience and education but approximately $85-$95k/year. All well-qualified candidates will be considered regardless of pay rate. This position offers a hybrid schedule, with a minimum of three days per week in the office and flexibility for remote work.

Qualified Inside Sales & Sales Support Specialists will have most, if not all, of the following skills and experience:

• 2+ years of recent, relevant experience in inside sales, sales support, sales operations, distributor management, credit management, forecasting, or a related business function.
• Recent experience supporting customer and distributor relationships, including coordinating follow-up activity and maintaining accurate sales-related records.
• Experience using Salesforce, SAP, or similar CRM/ERP systems for customer data, sales administration, pricing, order-management, and reporting activities is highly desirable.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Background preparing, maintaining, and analyzing sales forecasts, pricing information, sales reports, and customer data.
• A Bachelor’s degree is beneficial but not essential; an equivalent combination of relevant education and business, sales-support, or sales-operations experience will be strongly considered.

Must be able to work in the United States; no H-1 sponsorship or student visas considered. Must be able to complete standard pre-hire checks including background, drug screen, and references.
