Required skills
Turn complex dealer performance data into insights that drive smarter decisions. We are looking for a Dealer Performance Analyst to help strengthen dealer and portfolio profitability across F&I, service, and profit-sharing programs. In this highly collaborative role, you will uncover performance trends, identify root causes, model the impact of proposed changes, and translate analysis into clear, actionable recommendations.
You will serve as the primary analytical partner to the Dealer Performance Lead and work closely with Pricing, Actuarial, Claims, Program, and Reporting teams. Your work will help leaders understand what is happening, where it is happening, why it is happening, and what it means for dealer economics.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Own dealer-, account-, program-, and portfolio-level performance and profitability analysis.
- Identify trends, risks, and opportunities across claims, production, vehicle risk, product mix, pricing, and dealer behavior.
- Break down high-level results into the underlying drivers influencing dealer economics.
- Build forward-looking scenarios to evaluate the potential impact of proposed changes before implementation.
- Monitor results after implementation, validate assumptions, and refine recommendations.
- Help establish performance thresholds, early-warning indicators, and escalation triggers.
- Translate dealer-level behaviors into insights that support pricing, underwriting, forecasting, remediation, and program strategy.
- Partner with the Dealer Performance Lead and Reporting Specialist to deliver timely, scalable, dealer-ready insights and tools.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Strong analytical and financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate dealer and portfolio economics holistically.
- Proven ability to identify root causes and quantify performance drivers across complex systems.
- Experience with scenario analysis, impact modeling, and sound decision-making using incomplete or evolving data.
- Ability to explain analytical conclusions clearly to nontechnical partners and turn findings into action.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with Tableau, Salesforce, and Excel; SQL experience is a plus.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
- Performance insights consistently explain results and enable confident, aligned decisions.
- Key drivers are identified and quantified early, improving predictability and reducing anecdotal interpretation.
- Scenario analysis informs changes before implementation, and post-launch monitoring confirms impact.
- Analytical outputs are timely, relevant, scalable, and routinely used across business teams.
