What We Require:

The University of New Mexico Foundation seeks applications for the position of Administrative Coordinator, UNM Hospitals, UNM Children’s Hospital, and UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center. This position provides comprehensive administrative, clerical, and operational support for fundraising and development activities. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings, events, donor stewardship initiatives, communications, and special projects; maintaining accurate donor, departmental, and financial records; supporting budget and expense tracking; and assisting with the daily operations of Development offices. The Administrative Coordinator serves as a key liaison among Development staff, donors, volunteers, board members, internal departments, and external partners, ensuring effective communication, timely follow-up, and exceptional customer service. Working closely with Foundation and healthcare colleagues, this position helps facilitate development programs and philanthropic efforts that benefit UNM Hospitals, UNM Children’s Hospital, and the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The minimum education and experience required:

  • High school diploma/ GED required.
  • Two (2) years’ of directly related experience.
  • Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience.

Compensation Salary Range:

The expected salary for this position is $40,000 - $45,000. This range is an estimate, and the final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate’s experience and qualifications, consideration of any approved geographic salary differential, and alignment with internal equity guidelines to ensure consistency across similar roles.

Work Location:

This role will be based across the campus locations of the UNM Comprehensive Cancer Center, UNM Foundation, and UNM Hospitals. Hybrid work eligibility may be available to the successful finalist, contingent upon hiring manager approval.
