Marketing Lead, Italy
Milan | Full-time | Hybrid
Salary Band: €58,000–€72,000
Bonus: up to 20% maximum annual performance bonus
You turn market insight into marketing that moves customers and delivers commercial results. You’re a strategic, commercially minded marketing leader who can connect European priorities with what matters locally. You bring teams, partners and channels together around clear plans, translating customer and market insight into relevant marketing that builds the brand and drives growth.
The opportunity
As Marketing Lead for Italy, you’ll have end-to-end accountability for the strategy, planning, prioritisation and delivery of marketing activity across one of easyJet’s most important European markets. Reporting to the Head of European Marketing, you’ll work closely with commercial, trading, CRM, media, PR and agency partners to translate European brand and business priorities into locally relevant plans that build consideration, demand and commercial performance. You’ll lead the local team and remain accountable for market investment, performance and results, while shaping how easyJet shows up for customers across Italy.
“We’re looking for someone who combines strategic thinking with strong commercial judgement and hands-on leadership. You’ll bring a clear point of view on the Italian market, give the team direction and bring partners together around marketing that is locally relevant and makes a measurable difference.”
The team & culture
You’ll join one European marketing function, working closely with central marketing teams, commercial stakeholders, local market experts and creative and media agencies. The environment is collaborative, insight-led and commercially focused. You’ll lead the local marketing team, creating clarity, building capability and helping people do their best work.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll set the Italy market strategy and turn European priorities, local opportunities and trading needs into a focused, integrated marketing plan across paid, owned and partner channels. You’ll make disciplined choices about budgets and resources, working with media, CRM, web merchandising, PR and trading teams to improve relevance, conversion and return. You’ll champion locally relevant creative and storytelling, bringing Italian customer, competitor and cultural insight into campaign development and ensuring our marketing resonates locally while remaining consistent with the easyJet brand. You’ll build productive relationships with agencies, tourist boards, airports and other key partners, using performance evidence to adapt priorities and investment. As a people leader, you’ll provide clear direction, coach and develop your team, delegate effectively and build capability while delivering high-quality work at pace.
What we’re looking for
You’ll bring broad senior marketing experience, ideally gained with consumer brands in fast-paced, commercially driven environments. You know how to translate organisational priorities into a clear market vision and integrated plans. You combine strong commercial judgement with analytical capability. You can manage budgets and forecasts, interpret performance, make sound investment decisions and explain your recommendations clearly to senior stakeholders. You’re experienced across paid, owned and partner channels, confident leading agencies and external suppliers, and skilled in campaign briefing, creative evaluation and measurement. Just as importantly, you’re an inclusive and resilient leader who builds trusted relationships, stays decisive when information is incomplete and turns local customer, competitor and cultural insight into action.
What you’ll get
- Pension, Private Healthcare, Life Assurance
- Excellent staff travel benefits
- 25 days of annual leave
- Up to 20% maximum annual performance bonus
