Job Details

World Courier moves time-critical, life-saving pharma shipments across the globe, and our monitoring services give customers confidence that their product is safe on every leg. You will own the digital product capabilities behind our temperature and location monitoring services: the Temperature Monitor Selection capability, the RTTM/RTLM digital monitoring services (Argos), and the integration and automation roadmap that connects them. This is a high-visibility role that turns monitoring service needs into clear business requirements across TMS, X-Act, Customer Portal, Digital Control Tower and related systems.

Why this role matters

We are moving from standalone monitoring devices to integrated monitoring solutions, with automated shipment creation, real-time visibility, automated reporting, alerting and less manual handling. You will make that shift real. Your success will be measured by adoption of real-time monitoring, the reliability of our integrations and the reduction in manual effort for Operations and Customer Service.

What you’ll own

  • Roadmap and backlog: You will own and prioritise the roadmap and backlog for the monitoring digital products: the Temperature Monitor Selection capability, the RTTM/RTLM services, and the monitoring integration and automation backlog.
  • Temperature Monitor Selection capability: You will own the capability that guides device selection by packaging type, temperature range and customer requirements, including selection logic, user workflow, data-source alignment and product direction. You will support standardised monitor selection across the network.
  • RTTM/RTLM digital services (Argos): You will own the improvement backlog for the real-time temperature and location monitoring services: adoption, service performance, report generation time and success rate, customer visibility and integration reliability.
  • Integration reliability: You will prioritise fixes for missing RTTM/RTLM URLs and other integration failures, caused by ghost ship units, previous device assignments, incomplete shipment closure, improper shipment creation and monitor-status issues.
  • Business requirements: You will define business requirements and acceptance criteria for monitoring-related changes across TMS, X-Act, Customer Portal, Digital Control Tower, eMDM and downstream systems.
  • IT coordination: You will work with IT development teams on integrations and updates to TMS, X-Act, DCT and Customer Portal, and make sure delivery stays aligned with priorities.
  • Ship unit digital enablement: You will support the digital enablement of monitor ship units, which define monitor type, temperature range, pricing, RTTM/RTLM functionality, reporting and Customer Portal visibility.
  • Automation and automated reporting: You will advance automated shipment creation, report generation and delivery, alerting and customer communications, in order to reduce manual handling.
  • Operations and Customer Service: You will work with Operations and Customer Service to validate monitoring workflows, gather feedback and improve usability.
  • Cross-functional partners: You will work with QA, Cold Chain Packaging, Procurement, Packaging Fleet Management and vendors when enablement depends on qualification, documentation, pricing, ship units, device onboarding or system readiness. You will also partner with the Product Owners for Digital Control Tower and Cold Chain Intelligence, on proactive shipment management and on dashboard strategy respectively.

What success looks like

  • Higher RTTM adoption across the network and more confidence in the solution and its value.
  • Lower missing RTTM/RTLM URL rates and more reliable integrations.
  • Faster, more successful report generation, with visible service performance.
  • More automated shipment creation, reporting and alerting, and less manual effort.
  • A confirmed roadmap and ownership model for the Temperature Monitor Selection capability, and consistent monitor selection across packaging types and temperature ranges.
  • Clear, prioritised backlogs and strong stakeholder alignment.

What you bring

  • 5+ years in product ownership or product management, with a strong track record in agile environments.
  • Experience owning a roadmap and prioritising a backlog for digital products or services, and writing business requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience working with IT development teams on system integrations across several platforms.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence without formal authority in a global, matrixed organisation.
  • Analytical mindset, with the ability to use data and KPIs to prioritise and measure outcomes.
  • Comfort working across cultures and time zones.
  • Knowledge of logistics systems (TMS or similar), customer portals, or IoT and real-time tracking solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as pharma, healthcare or logistics is highly desirable.
  • Agile or product certifications (CSPO, SAFe PO or similar) are a plus.
  • English proficiency at C1 level or higher (written and spoken). Additional languages are a plus.

Why join us

  • Own a high-visibility digital capability that is critical to World Courier’s value proposition, with real decision-making authority.
  • Shape the next generation of shipment monitoring and visibility.
  • Work internationally with global teams and exposure to senior leadership.
  • Join a re-imagined, product-led IT function driving digital transformation.
  • Hybrid working is based in Madrid or London.
  • Competitive compensation.
  • Contribute to a purpose-driven business delivering essential pharma logistics.
