At MiniMed, you can begin a lifelong career of exploration and innovation, while helping make a difference in the lives of people living with diabetes around the globe. You'll lead with purpose, breaking down barriers to innovation for a more connected, compassionate world.

About the Role

Nordic Language & Afrikaans Speakers - Watford
Customer Service & Patient Support Opportunities

Use your language skills to make a difference to people living with diabetes. At MiniMed, we’re looking to connect with people for current and future opportunities across our multilingual Patient Services and Customer Care teams. Whether your strengths lie in helping people use technology, resolving customer enquiries or keeping orders moving, there could be an opportunity for you.

A fresh chapter at MiniMed

At MiniMed, we make every day a better day for people living with diabetes. Independence marks a new chapter, bringing sharper focus, clearer ownership and the opportunity to help shape our future.

Our technology brings together automated insulin delivery and continuous glucose monitoring to support everyday diabetes management. Behind every device is someone counting on us, and our Patient Services and Customer Care teams play an essential part in providing the support they need.

Where you could make a difference

We welcome interest across several areas. Depending on the team and role, you could be:

  • Supporting patients and healthcare professionals: answering product questions, explaining device use and providing calm, reassuring guidance.
  • Providing technical support: helping people work through product issues using approved troubleshooting guidance, and escalating when further support is needed.
  • Managing customer enquiries and orders: supporting the journey from order to delivery, responding to calls and emails, and keeping customers informed until their enquiry is resolved.
  • Supporting our commercial teams: working with sales colleagues and internal specialists to resolve issues and deliver a consistent customer experience.
  • Improving how we work: recording interactions accurately, sharing feedback and helping make our processes simpler and more effective.

You don’t need experience in every area. We’re interested in understanding your strengths and matching you with suitable opportunities.

Languages we’re looking for

We’re particularly interested in people who speak one or more Nordic languages or Afrikaans, alongside English. Language and proficiency requirements will depend on the position.

What you’ll bring

  • A customer-focused approach, with empathy, patience and a willingness to help.
  • Clear communication skills and confidence supporting people by phone and email.
  • A practical approach to solving problems and taking ownership of enquiries.
  • Attention to detail and confidence learning new systems.
  • A positive, collaborative attitude and an interest in improving how things work.

Experience in customer service, patient support, technical helpdesks, order management or sales support would be valuable. Familiarity with SAP, Salesforce or similar systems is helpful for some roles. We provide role-specific onboarding and training to help you succeed.

What you can expect

  • Purposeful work supporting people living with diabetes.
  • A collaborative, international working environment.
  • Competitive salary and benefits appropriate to your role and location.
  • Training and opportunities to develop your skills and grow your career.
  • Hybrid opportunities combining office time with working from home, depending on the role.

Our teams include opportunities in Watford. Location, working hours, benefits and contract type—including permanent or fixed-term positions—will be confirmed for each vacancy.

Let’s find your next opportunity

Apply and tell us about your language skills, experience and preferred location. This posting brings together interest for current and future vacancies across our Patient Services and Customer Care teams. By applying, you’re expressing interest in these opportunities rather than one specific position. Our recruitment team will review your profile and contact you where there is a suitable match.
