Job Summary
We are seeking a Human Resources Intern to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department assisting with administrative tasks related to compliance. This internship will provide an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources within a healthcare organization and work with an experienced professional in a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and attention to detail.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Microsoft excel to assist with data cleaning, data tracking, and data input as part of project tracking tools.
- Navigate to external websites to support credential process by visiting government and enterprise portals to establish organizational accounts, manage user access and credentials, and coordinate third-party authorizations.
- Download files and store on confidential shared drive.
- Provide other administrative support activities to the human resources department as needed.
Job Requirements
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or pursuing a degree in human resources, business administration or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of coursework complete.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent organization and communication skills.
- Availability to work up to 30 hours per week. This is a part-time, remote internship position, with a duration of four-six weeks. The position offers a great opportunity for a candidate to gain hands-on exposure to HR processes. The successful candidate will receive training and guidance from an experienced human resource professional and an understanding of employment policies and HR best practices in a small organizational environment.
Hourly Rate: $18–22 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule: Aug 10-Sept 4 or 14 (4-6 weeks)
